Special thanks to Eugene & Syd for the audio sources and the anonymous person(s) who produced these fantastic digital rips in the first place; Pink Robert for his "The Complete BBC Sessions 1967-68" compilation* from which I borrowed nearly all off-air recordings; Greg for sending me a few upgrades for version 1.1, 'a collector' for completing the MCW&F section with his fantastic previously uncirculated 1st generation tapes, Kees for the Goodbye Again track and Colin H. for sending me some loose ends.

[* Robert's version was copied by the "copyright expiration" label Shockwaves in 2018 for a semi-official release which has been mistaken for being an authorized version, partly because it's on Spotify and the other streaming services.]

Note: this is the first complete Traffic BBC compilation with the best possible sound quality. It is a major upgrade to what's out there, and unlikely to be superseded (though I will be on the lookout for better source material for the off-air bits). According to Ken Garner's book, the group recorded a fifth session in July 1968 but there is a fair chance this may have been a re-transmission of the June 68 session. As a bonus, I have added the two sessions by "Mason, Capaldi, Wood & Frog" (= Traffic w/ Winwood replaced by Wynder K. Frog). This line-up lasted only for 3 months, possibly because Capaldi and Wood helped sacking Mason from Traffic a few months earlier by picking Winwood's side. Their material sounds very promising though, especially "World in Changes" is a gem and makes clear that Mason needed a good band to make his material come alive (the version from his debut album pales in comparison).
